Hi - I am Christine Brown of Lochwinnoch in Renfrewshire, Scotland.
This Scottish Art site brings you a rolling showcase of my paintings and exhibitions. Forthcoming Exhibitions I hope you like my paintings and share my love of the subject matter I choose to paint. I live in Lochwinnoch, Renfrewshire, and work from my Loft Studio where I can see over the whole village. I paint mainly in watercolours and gouache although more recently I have been using acrylics and oils.
My style is generally representational although by using acrylics I find myself straying to a more contemporary style with a strong design element. My subjects vary. However I seem to have formed a special affinity with snow ... it keeps popping up. I do paint summer scenes as well.
