The Atholl Centre, Atholl Road, Pitlochry
July 15 - August 5, 2006
This year we welcome 50 artist and 34 craft exhibitors. Watercolour, acrylic, oil & collage are represented in the Art section and stained glass, patchwork, pyrography, glass engraving, wood turning, American Folk Art, beadwork, ceramics, silk items, jewellery, handcrafted bags/boxes, art/photographic/collage greeting cards feature in the Crafts section.
Pitlochry Gallery Association is a non-profit making organisation and commission from sales of work is donated to nominated charities. Last year donations of £1500 were made. Donations are made each year to one local charity, one national charity and one international charity.
The principle behind Pitlochry Gallery (since 1968) is to foster and encourage creative artists within the community by providing a showcase
for them. It was originally linked to the Pitlochry East Church under the guidance of Rev. Frank Martin until his retirement in 1990. Many of our exhibitors are now outwith the immediate community. A website (http://www.pitlochrygallery.co.uk) is under construction and should be ready to launch with this year's exhibition.
Open: Mon - Sat 10am - 5pm; Sunday 2 - 5pm. Last day 4pm finish.
