We are raising funds on behalf of
Christian Engineers In Development (CED) - a small UK non-profit organisation that provides professional expertise to developing countries.

Kajugangoma lies about 4 kilometres west of a small town of Kanungu at an altitude of 5000 feet above sea level. It's a very broken country with most of the population living in hamlets around the ridges.

According to CED the present sources of water consist of three unprotected springs which are not easily accessible - and there is a high incidence of water-bourne disease.

Women and children spend up to 4 hours daily fetching water, often involving steep climbs, laden with heavy water cans ... and there are two primary schools in this area.

This water supply project for Kajugangoma is one of the six applied for to CED by the Church of Uganda. 100% of the funds we raise are directed to subsidising the cost of providing...

• Clean water supply to the hamlets around the ridges, and to the two primary schools in the area.
