at Gallimaufry Gallery A Different View September 23 - October 11 , 2006
Keith Salmon A statement about 'A Different View' The works displayed in this exhibition are all based on my experiences whilst out walking and climbing in the Scottish Highlands. As a visually impaired artist and walker I tend to see my surroundings quite differently now. When out walking with my partner and guide I see very little detail in the landscape. The impressions I now have of the Scottish mountains are ones of swirling mists, uncertain scale and big and constantly changing areas of light and colour. I have tried over the last few years to capture this different view using oil, acrylic and pastel; and more recently, using all of them together. Here's a small showcase of 'A Different View to give you a taste of my work as you'll find at Gallimaufry September 23 - October 11, 2006. Back to Exhibitions | Top # 0005 |
