Penguin by William Williamson

The kick-off exhibition combines prints from various artists with the vibrant pottery of William Williamson. Many already know William and his work through the gallery and the classes he has tutored. This year Williamson has added lively stoneware animals to his trademark Raku work. Many of those are suitable for outdoors.

Jean and Hilary are back in situ on Friday evening 7 - 9pm for an informal preview of this new show and this year’s re-vamp of the Gallimaufry space. The official opening is on Saturday 10th March from 10am until noon. Come along and enjoy.

During the closed phase, the gallery has been responsible for the organisation of a six page article in the current Mar/Apr edition of Home Plus Scotland which extols the attractions of the 3 Loch Loop including Loch Eck, over the hill to Ardentinny, Loch Long and Holy Loch. The magazine is available throughout Scotland and North England and should put the area on the map for a host of potential visitors.
