About Lynne and Frank

Frank Houston DA
A student of Glasgow School of art from 196. to 196.
Frank works mainly in oil, depicting his travels through Greece, Italy, India and America.

He is a Member Artist of Primera and a regular exhibitor at Paintings on Railings, Glasgow Westend and has also Exhibited at McLellan Galleries; Glasgow Room, Princes Square; Hillhead Library; Glasgow Botanic Gardens Visitors Centre and Tighnabruaich Gallery, Tighnabruaich, Argyll.



Lynne Scobbie FRSA
Lynne is self taught and works from home. She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. Most recent works are in ink which Lynne finds ideal for her atmospheric landscapes. She also works in watercolour and acrylic, she is a keen calligrapher and recently found collage.
Lynne is also co-ordinator of Paintings on Railings Open Air Art Fairs, part of Glasgow West End Festival.
She lived and worked in Greece for three years painting signs, murals and vehicles. She also painted the mural and signs at the Kibble Palace Coffee Shop at Glasgow Botanic Gardens.
Lynne is a member artist of Primera and her work has been exhibited in various galleries including Glasgow Botanic Gardens Visitor Centre; Hillhead Library, Glasgow; Tighnabruaich Gallery, Argyll; The Glasgow Room, Princes Square, Glasgow; The Auld Kirk Museum, Kirkintilloch and The Lilley Art Gallery, Milngavie. She exhibited and sold a work at the Scapes (Southern Californian Environmental Defence League) Open Air Show in Santa Barbara, California in May 2002. She also donated and sold works at the Macmillan Art Show at Kelvingrove Art Gallery 2002 and 2003, the CHAS Auction at Glasgow University 2003 and L'Arches Auction, St Mary's Cathedral 2003.
