at Christo's Gallery 595 Great Western Road, Glasgow G12 11am until 5pm If you have even a passing interest in art then this is the event for you. And even if you don't buy art or have never set foot in a gallery then this is the chance to go to a gallery and meet an artist and see how it is done. J. P. McLaughlin has bravely agreed to produce a painting in Christo’s Gallery in Glasgow on Sunday the 12th of February. Rarely would you get the chance to meet an artist at work but to watch one work and to be able to talk to him as he is working should prove to be a great experience. The subject will be figurative and produced from a blank canvas in the gallery. This is a unique opportunity and not to be missed. J P will show the finished painting in Christo’s on the 3rd of March for his solo show, giving those people who went to see how it was done the chance to see how it is presented for the gallery.
