The Tallest Building In The World From Mike Shepley DA(Edin), Dip TP Member of Scottish Art Circle January 10, 2010 I am currently in Dubai and have recently covered the spectacular opening of Burj Khalifa - at 828 metres, the tallest building in the world ... by 'miles'. My forthcoming painting, due for completion for an exhibition in Abu Dhabi in February 2010, is based on the superb fireworks, water fountains and laser show at the reent inauguration of Burj Khalifa in Dubai on January 4th. Burj Khalifa Potentially there were 828 surreal paintings created in the few short minutes it took to light up the skies here on that night - watched in awe by the World.
