All works are available for sale with prices to suit most pockets - whether you are a serious collector or a first time art buyer there's always something here to catch your eye and budget. From February 3, 2008

Solo Exhibition
at
The Rowan Gallery
36-42 Main Street, Drymen, Loch Lomond

I am delighted to be working with such a prestigious gallery yet again, and my latest work will be on show from February 3, 2008.

The Romantic
12 x 12inches Oils on canvas

This solo exhibition follows on from the incredibly successful Edinburgh Art Fair when demand for the latest work outstripped supply.

I love the effect of light on any subject and by playing around with the light I can create a mood and atmosphere that will capture your imagination and hold your attention.

Too late
24 x 30inches Acrylics on canvas

It is this use of light that created so much of a demand for my work at the Edinburgh Art Fair that my work sold out within 2 days.

Successful art will make you stop in your tracks and take a careful look at the work, and I hope this latest work which incorporates the Glasgow sky line will make you pause for thought and give you great pleasure.

City of Culture
16 x 12inches Oils on canvas

There will be 25 paintings in various sizes and format in this exhibition. This is my latest work which shows a marked change in the work itself not only in style but in approach as well, with a sudden change from monochrome to bright vibrant colours ... a change that will be clearly noted when viewed together for the first time.

Figures are still the main feature of my work but the dramatic light source is still evident in everything and that will take a long time to change.
