Christmas Exhibition at Gallimaufry Gallery

The year has rushed past and we are coming close to our last exhibiton in 2006.

Ronnie Ford’s vibrant show Along The Water’s Edge has pride of place until Wednesday 22nd November.

His sales have been excellent but there are still a few prize pieces available.

On Wednesday evening it is all change when the Christmas Gallimaufry exhibition is set up. This year we are changing tack by asking artists from the past year to produce paintings which can all be framed similarly and which will all be available at no more than £175.

The paintings are shown alongside Jimmy O’Neill’s fine metalwork mirrors, a combination which will make a sparkling show for the Christmas season.

The preview for Christmas Gallimaufry is on Friday 24th November from 7.00 till 9.00pm and the opening is on Saturday 25th November from 10.00am - noon. We would love to see you there.

On Saturday 25th November and Sat 9th December, we are also running a Raku Pottery Class tutored by William Williamson. On the first day the pieces are built. William takes all pieces to dry and fire and returns on 9th December for the glazing part of the class ... a really fun class! Contact us to book a place.

Following all this activity, we close on 17th December to recharge the batteries. Hope we see you before but we wish all our customers, friends and artists a very Happy Christmas.
