The At Home Exhibition by Gordon Davidson
12 Noon - 8pm This is an At Home exhibition of paintings, drawings and photographs by Glasgow artist Gordon Davidson. Phone 0141 557 1612 for viewing appointment. The first Around The World In 80 Pictures exhibition sponsored by Fyne Studios of Newton, Loch Fyne, Scotland and Strathclyde University, Glasgow was held at Seagull Gallery, Gourock, Inverclyde last November. Gordon Davidson studied at the Glasgow Shool of Art and since leaving has travelled to some weird and wonderful parts of the world. Around The World In 80 Pictures traces Gordon's 20 years of travelling, in sketches, drawings, photographs and paintings. Working for this exhibition took Gordon to North America, South America, Africa, Europe and Asia ... and a year to put together. Documentry For the past 18 months a Documentry team from Keeper Productions has been following the making of this exhibition, including Gordon's work in Peru and Morocco. The one hour film produced was previewed at the opening of the exhibition at Seagull Gallery. DVD copies of the Documentary are now available for sale at £15 each.
