Jim Fogarty - Profile | Showcase | Contact Jim Fogarty is a Scottish artist living and working in South Ronaldsay, Orkney. Jim specialises in Guitar Artwork and Pencil Drawings. At the age forty seven and having doodled my way through a few minor 'career blips' like the Royal Marines, the fire service, aquaculture, boatwork and one or two security contracts, now seemed the perfect time to attempt something more sensible and creative for a change. So just over eighteen months ago I started working solely and exclusively on Guitar Artwork, after many years of experimenting, practicing and learning different techniques. The intention then as now, is largely unchanged... 'To push the boundaries, limits and possibilities of guitar artwork, as far as is possible down the highly detailed route'.
