Gordon Davidson is probably best known for his atmospheric and unique landscape paintings of Scotland, but this exhibition is inspired by his wanderlost which over the years has taken him to all four corners of the map.

This love of travelling has led to Gordon amassing a large body of work in the shape of paintings, drawing, sketches and photographs, the best of which have been hand-picked to feature in this new exhibition.

Around The World In 80 Pictures has taken 25 years to make and a year to put together. The exhibition features acrylics, watercolours and gouache paintings as well as finished drawings from sketch books.

Rather than creating paintings from 80 countries Gordon has grouped work from fifteen countries ... from Atlas to the Andes; from Mid-West America to Far East China; from the Gobi Desert to the Chitwan jungle.

Gordon has invited officials from all the countries represented to the opening on Saturday October 28 (12noon - 5pm) and would like to extend an invitatition to anyone from the countries involved. These countries include
