About Bob Gould:
Bob is 59 and grew up in the West End of Glasgow and now lives in Erskine. He is a professional artist and works from his studio and gallery near his home. He normally paints landscapes and so the ‘Station’ he has chosen has been a big challenge for him.
“In this painting I have tried to create the feelings of darkness & light, death & life, despair & hope, the darkness of the cross & the resurrection of Christ. I recently experienced the darkness and despair of having cancer and also the hope and light of new beginnings”
