About Ali Abubakar :
Ali Abubakar was born in Zanzibar and has lived in the UK for most of his adult life. In 1986 he turned one of his many hobbies into a full time business and opened a framing workshop and a small gallery. He enjoys painting in acrylic and oil paint although his favourite medium is oil pastels. He closed the gallery 4 years ago due to ill health and now paints from home. He recently launched his first art web site. “I especially like capturing Scottish scenes... landscapes and seascapes as main subject matter.”
