Many of the 600 visitors to the offline exhibition and online visitors have expressed their response to our Stations of the Cross. We encourage you to send us your comments so that we may all share this Easter Celebration with you. Click Here to send your message comments we've received: “I wanted you to know that your website is wonderful. The pictures that accompany the stations of the cross and the meditations are fabulous. I'm wondering if I might get permission from you to use your website as a hotlink in a Lenten Unit that some of our teachers are developing to teach students about the stations of the cross using the various visual arts. I guarantee that we would properly credit you and that we would not use the images or meditations for any commercial purposes. We simply want to expose our students to marvelous examples of visual arts which portray the stations of the cross. I look forward to hearing from you.” Miles - Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada “I really connected with this painting. Thank you.”- Lindy Kew, Glasgow Ref. CR03- Jesus Praying “Excellent stuff. Well done and congratulations. I wish we could get stuff up on the web as quickly as you have!” Mark Pierson- Auckland, New Zealand. “I have just spent a considerable time going through your website and have enjoyed it. It is good to find innovative ways of getting the message across, and you certainly managed to do so. It is good to encourage people to use their God given gifts in this way, and an excellent means of contact with people. Our own input to the Easter season at Ards Evangelical Church was a presentation on Sunday evening of the Graham Kendrick musical Make way for the cross. The church was packed and we had lots of visitors”. Anne Ravey- County Ard, Ireland. Thanks for such a professionally mounted exhibition. I was particularly impressed by the weaving of Tony Morris and the painting of Bob Gould. It was great to see the different media, especially the cake, and also very heartening to see that there is no ageism. The variety of ages of contributors was inspiring. Liz March, New Zealand. ref.CR09 + CR18 ...Your gallery site is really interesting... It was a great exhibition and I understand that there were over 600 visitors to the Church... Look out Tate Gallery! Everyone I met was very moved by the whole experience. Thanks for all the hard work that was involved in the setting up ...really pleased to have met you and to admire your work. The soft colours and bold composition made for a striking image of the Crucifiction- Anne Cunningham, Glasgow CR012 Jesus Nailed to the Cross This Picture – sudden transition from darkness into light – This is Mary Magdalene’s story. There has been great darkness in her life – a wild thing, Abused and well gone into self-destruct; Till she met Jesus of Nazareth – who said she was a person, That she mattered. And that was light! Forgiven; accepted; clean; look in the mirror and not flinch. And then they killed him and light went out. Early on the first day of the week While it was still dark Mary Magdalene came to the tomb – it was empty. Burk and Hare? Hey you – gardener – where have you put him? Mary! Trembling; unbelief; unsure; afraid to trust; light again; dawning slow. Dayspring from high, somebody called it. Thing is, it seems to be still happening, to people right now. I’ve met some of them… From Dark Into Light. Ian Ford, Glasgow Ref CR18 Jesus Raised from the Dead (Anybody wants to pick this up?) Would you give permission to use the pictures from the Stations of the Cross on your web site as part of a Powerpoint presentation during Lenten reconciliation services at Powers Catholic High School in Flint, Michigan, U.S.A.? I would include each artists name along with the pictures used. Thank you for your consideration. Carol M. Waner , Clio Michigan USA Dear Ali, Thank you for your quick reply to my request.
